Dipika Damerla is ridiculous in how her responses to everything that's supposed to be emotionally-driven is actually completely faked and rehearsed. She advocates the fact that she was "at the table" when fighting for change and is happy with the small, subpar amount she was able to accomplish as trophies of mayoral leadership. I can tell a fake politician for the citizens/constiuants when I see one. At least she had the courage though to show up, unlike a certain Carolyn Parrish so I'll give her that. I'm impressed by these other candidates and I can definitely see parts of me wanting to vote for them. Brian Crombie is definitely taking the populist route and is recommended for anyone that wants to really shake up the system of Mississauga council, but may need to take the next two years to ramp up his reputation so that he isn't shunned by the media. Stephen Dasko is definitely calculated in his approach, and probably the most level-headed of the candidates which I can respect (though I fear his calculation could be too slow for the changes needed facing transportation and affordable housing). Alvin Tedjo definitely has the most heart of them all, and truly understands the needs of the voters and has also done actual research into tackling each issue (whereas other candidates just list out bullet points for what they want to get done with no backing otherwise). If there was a way to combine each of these candidates strengths into one performance, there would be no question who would win, but definitely looking forward to making my vote come Monday.

In the debate, Dipika Damerla continues to attack the frontrunner, Carolyn Parrish. Carolyn Parrish’s comments were cherry-picked out of context by many. However, Dipika Damerla publicly and disrespectfully capitalizes on this. Dipika Damerla’s slogan is Liveable and Affordable. Really? Dipika Damerla voted AGAINST AFFORDABLE fourplex housing - later overturned by Mayor Bonnie Crombie. Dipika Damerla’s MARC mandatory inspections for apartment buildings can generate RENT HIKES from landlord AGI’s making rents LESS AFFORDABLE. Mississauga tenants deserve truth and proper disclosure. In 2022, Dipika Damerla’s council seat was vacant without a proxy for a period of time (DISRESPECTING city council) while she FAILED a Provincial race campaign. Dipika Damerla’s X-Post boasts that as mayor she WILL STOP the Bloor Street Bike Project and she signed a petition DISRESPECTING council’s final decision. Has Dipika Damerla gone ROGUE pandering & promoting the use of STRONG-MAYOR POWERS? Do we want a disrespectful ROGUE mayor with strong-mayor powers? Dipika Damerla brags “I’m the most experienced candidate running,” and she is the “new generation of experience,” and she is the “only one who can beat Carolyn Parrish.” Really? Perhaps a “new generation of arrogance and disrespect” is more accurate. Councillor Chris Fonseca has recently accused Dipika Damerla of violating City Code of Conduct, lacking integrity, undermining council’s decision, poor governance, instilling anger and hate and misleading Mississauga residents. General Committee Meeting May 8/2024 (Public Information)

Government housing, shelters are not good for decent people to live in. Emergency Hospital has 8 hours waiting time and eventually gets one bed in the side of the corridor. 1400/- monthly maximum income on ODSP. Very sad, how to survive. Monthly Gift cards, Yearly Apartments expenses for maintenance, taxes and insurance should be given to people who are on LOW INCOME on ODSP, Monthly Taxi vouchers. This is the minimum amount required without which we cannot survive. Thanks for helping with Groceries on monthly basis. God Bless you All.

Here are some reasons why a food bank should invest in freeze dryers ¹ ² ³ ⁴: - *Food Security*: Freeze dryers can help preserve surplus produce, which can be stored for emergency food supplies. - *Long Shelf Life*: Freeze-dried food can last for years, stretching the grocery budget and ensuring a constant supply of fresh, non-processed food. - *Nutritional Value*: Freeze-drying preserves the nutritional content of food, making it a healthy and convenient option for those seeking long-term food storage or nutritious snacks. - *Food Waste Reduction*: Freeze drying can help reduce food waste by preserving food that would otherwise go to waste. - *Cost-Effective*: Freeze dryers can pay for themselves in a matter of months, especially when shared with others. - *Versatility*: Freeze dryers offer versatility in the types of food that can be freeze-dried, from fruits and vegetables to meat, dairy, and even complete meals. - *Emergency Preparedness*: Freeze-dried food can be a valuable resource during emergencies or natural disasters when fresh food may be scarce. Freeze dryers can be a valuable investment for food banks, offering a cost-effective and efficient way to preserve food and reduce waste. They can also provide a sustainable source of nutritious food for those in need, and can be a valuable resource during emergencies or natural disasters.

Flash freezers are essential for fish farms to preserve the quality and freshness of the fish. Here are some reasons why: 1. Rapid freezing: Flash freezers can quickly freeze fish to a temperature below -30°C (-22°F), which helps prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms that can cause spoilage. 2. Preservation of quality: Flash freezing helps maintain the fish's texture, flavor, and nutritional value by preventing the breakdown of proteins and fatty acids. 3. Extended shelf life: Flash-frozen fish can be stored for longer periods, making it easier to manage inventory and supply chain logistics. 4. Improved food safety: Flash freezing reduces the risk of contamination and foodborne illnesses by killing harmful bacteria and parasites. 5. Increased marketability: Flash-frozen fish can be sold as a high-quality, fresh product, commanding a premium price in the market. By using flash freezers, fish farms can ensure that their products meet the highest standards of quality, freshness, and food safety, which is essential for maintaining customer trust and loyalty.
